Super Bowl Sunday 🏈

Hope you all have had a great Sunday! I know it’s been kind of a long day in our world, but on a fun note- Brock took his first steps. Something I love doing is cooking up some good food for any occasion really, but especially on game day! This year I decided to do something that was more like “dinner”, but allowed everyone the option to build it themselves!! We did a cheeseburger + chicken wing + chips- charcuterie board!

Cheeseburger, Wings, + Chips Charcuterie Board

The nice thing about this, is it’s simple! Honestly the main thing is just getting everything out, and ready to lay out on your board. I started with the chips first, because those do need to sit in apple cider vinegar for a bit before you air fry them. I then went to the wings, and since those do take some time to bake/broil- I started them while the chips were sitting in the apple cider vinegar. Lastly, I yelled for my husband to throw the burgers on the grill. This was a lot of fun, especially for my picky toddler who felt like he had some control – he got to “choose” his own meal. Happy toddler, happy life 😂. I’ll list the recipes for the chips + wings below…

Salt & Vinegar Chips

You’ll want to grab your mandolin for this one, and potato’s. Cut them about as thin as you can, and toss in a bowl. You’ll pour apple cider vinegar over top them, and let sit for about 20-30 min. Once they’ve sit for a bit, drain. Then toss olive oil, and salt over them. Throw them in the air fryer @400 for about 20 min. When they are finished, top with sea salt. (FYI, you’ll definitely want to use sea salt versus regular salt for this)

Chicken Wings

I just grab a bag of frozen wings, let them sit out for a bit. Toss them on a pan (or simply air fry) – bake @425 for 25 min. While they are baking I mix: melted butter, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Once they’ve cooked for about 25 min- I’ll grab them out of the oven. I toss around in the butter mixture, then add Parmesan Garlic Sauce. Throw back on the pan, and in the oven for about 20 more min. You’ll wanna broil at the end for about 8-10 min, to give them a crisp..(if you like that, I know I do).

I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening!!
