Seafood Boil + Good Times with Friends

We had such a good time celebrating my husbands birthday, with some of our friends. I really enjoy entertaining, it truly brings joy to my life. I had so much fun preparing all the food- and I had tons of recipe requests, so I’m going to share all of that here for you!! The first recipe is the Fall charcuterie board, you guys this is truly so simple + perfect for Fall.

For this I used the following:
• Green + Red Apples
• Pretzels + Party Crackers
• Bourbon Gouda
• Schulers Sharp Cheddar (found at Kroger)
• Caramel Sauce (homemade) but you could use jar and it would be just fine.

Caramel Sauce Recipe:
• 1 stick butter (melt)
• 1 + 1/2 cup of brown sugar
• 3/4 cup light corn syrup
• 1 can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 teaspoon of Vanilla

**I’m also linking my charcuterie board here.

The “BETTER THAN SEX/ANYTHING CAKE”
This was sooo good, and sooo simple!

• 2 boxes of Devils Food cake mix (add a shot of Whiskey to the cake mix)
• Let cool, then poke holes in cake
• Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake
• Then pour caramel sauce over the cake
• Refrigerate for 2 hours
• Top with Cool Whip + Heath Bar Crumbles

We smoked our Crab Legs, this was a first for us- I highly recommend trying them that way! Smoke them for 2 hours @220. We also made a spicy butter, which is from one of our favorite seafood restaurants at the beach.
Butter Recipe
• Melt butter (3 sticks)
• Add hot sauce
• Garlic Powder

Tasty Scallops
• We just fried them in butter until they were golden brown on each side
• Sprinkle Salt + Pepper

My friend actually made the Oysters –
• Spinach
• Heavy Cream
• Garlic
• Parmesan

Cook in a skillet until well combined.
Then melt butter with bread crumbs and sprinkle.
Then pour into the oysters and bake @ 450 for about 5-8 minutes.
She added crumbled bacon which is optional, and let me tell ya- I prefer them that way now!

We also had Red Lobster biscuits, potatoes, corn, and more crab legs the traditional way!

A success, and a good time!
