Did you have a good Saturday? It rained quite a bit here, so we spent most of the day deep cleaning. I decided to have a little bit of fun, and create a fun appetizer board – ya know, the boys and me all day.. I needed something SIMPLE. This board was a lot of fun, as it was easy too. Brady loves to eat outside on the back patio, so if we do I especially like it when I am able to throw all our food on one board/platter – and make little trips from inside the kitchen.
For this board I threw my wings in the air fryer- which is the way we prefer them. Then I took some of the Sams Club chicken nuggets (specifically for the boys because they are boneless)- air fryed them too. After that I take a personal favorite, jalapeño poppers- throw them in the air fryer. Wow, ok- a lot of air frying happening here, huh?! After I get those done, I’ll make a few cheese quesadillas- the boys love those too. I cut up some broccoli, and carrots- gotta have some veggies right? Then I took tortilla chips, laid them out- with some popcorn (we love popcorn in this house). After that I start laying out the dips, tonight we used ranch & an amazing Buffalo chicken dip I found at Trader Joe’s. There ya have it, from start to finish this probably took a total of 45 min (that includes waiting on the food to cook in the air fryer).
If you are looking for something fun, simple, and delicious to do with your family- I highly recommend giving this a shot!
