I’m a huge fan of appetizers, especially one that mimics pizza. I’ve been making pepperoni rolls the last few years, for our ugly Christmas sweater party. This year , thanks to COVID – the sweater party didn’t happen. I decided to take these to family dinner though, and I’m sure they’ll be a hit (they usually are). This is one of the EASIEST recipes ever.
Rhodes Rolls (1 package)
Pepperoni
Mozzarella Cheese (shredded or cubes)
You’ll want to thaw the rolls out on a pan, once they are thawed you’ll press them down + lay the pepperoni & mozzarella inside them.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll wrap them and squeeze the top. I turn them over to bake.
Let rolls bake @400 for about 5-8 minutes, take out and drizzle butter sauce over them.
After that, I’ll sprinkle Parmesan cheese – and toss back in the oven for an additional 8-10 minutes.
Butter Sauce
Melt half stick butter, sprinkle in: basil, garlic powder salt, pepper.
