I’ve found the holy grails when it comes to indoor grills! Something about grilled food, it just tastes better. We spent game day prepping paninis with the George Foreman, and I am here to tell ya- I love everything about it. First of all, it’s smokeless- no I am not kidding- no smoke what so ever, but you get that straight from the grill feeling! Another thing I like about the grill, is the option to choose your cook temp.. that’s helpful! Lastly, let’s talk clean up. None of us want to spend all of our time (especially on game day) cleaning up messes. I can honestly tell you, clean up for this requires the BARE MINIMUM- I mean it when I say it. Literally taking off 3 key pieces, and toss in your dishwasher – because guess what- it’s dishwasher SAFE!!
On to panini prep, you guys- I have found that if you simply take a few minutes to lay out all toppings / ingredients for your paninis .. it makes the process sooo easy!! We indulged ourselves – literally. We had: Turkey Bacon Ranch, Jalapeño Popper, and my favorite ITALIAN!
Turkey Bacon Ranch:
Sourdough Bread
Turkey
Bacon
Pepper jack Cheese
Ranch dressing
I rub melted butter on the outside before grilling.
Jalapeño Popper
Sourdough Bread
Jalapeños (sliced long ways)
Cream cheese
Colby Jack cheese
Rub butter on the outside before grilling.
Italian
Ciabatta Bread
Pepperoni
Ham
Salami
Peppered Pepperoni
Provolone cheese
Italian Dressing Mixture (melt butter, Italian dressing, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, pepper) thank me later on that one!! Sooo good!
We serve with our homemade Salt & Vinegar chips- but I’ll save that recipe for another day!!
