Is it just me, or can it be a little stressful shoe shopping for the kiddos? It typically is for me, until I found Jenzy. The game changer, and in all honesty- I didn’t expect it to workout so well. I struggle with Brady especially – when it comes to all clothing + shoes- Brock, well he’s go with the flow for now- but finding that perfect size for both boys isn’t always so easy. With Jenzy, that’s when things became less stressful- and not only that, but we got the correct sizes for both boys. Upon creating my Jenzy account, I simply had to give a few pieces of information about the boys current shoes/sizing- and Jenzy took care of the rest. After finding the shoes that work best for the boys this Fall- I checked out on a Thursday night, shoes were here but Saturday!!
This year, I let Brady have some input on his shoe preference- we went with the Adidas Superstar shoe- it doesn’t have laces, which at this age kind of works out best. The shoe is easy for him to slide his own foot in comfortably, and his specific words were “mom, I can run fast in these”. So far, we are loving the superstars, he also loves Crocs while the weather is still warm. For Brock, I decided to give the Native brand a try- I have heard many people say that their toddlers foot fits good in them- and they are right. Brock was able to run all over the yard in the shoe, and it’s very soft + comfortable for him. Not only is the shoe comfortable for his growing foot- but we don’t have any laces to worry about with him either. I also love the style of the shoe, it works for casual / athletic as well- which is nice. Brock also wears Crocs while the weather is still warm, and we also love the Adidas or New Balance tennis shoe for him- they seem to fit his foot the best.
My overall opinion on both shoe options we got this year:
Adidas Superstar: easy for a toddler to slide on and off, no laces, can be worn many ways, and great quality.
Native: Soft for the toddler foot, great quality, no laces, and stay on his foot as good as any shoe we have tried thus far- great for the new walker! One downfall, his feet are kinda chunky – so it did take us a minute to get them on- but they stay on his foot great!
